I ordered a lot of nail heads from Etsy recently and needed a way to organize them. I used tiny craft kit paint pots (which can be purchased new!) for each item and wrote the shop’s code on them. I’ll add the size but I need to reference my order sheet to make sure I get it right. The paint pots fit perfectly 12 to a bin in my hardware organizer. There are more than 12 pots of deco so I’ve created an overflow bin with infrequently used parts and the random Rio Rondo stuff that accumulates.

I picked up chain in the same order and am spooling it on embroidery floss cards. I used found parts for chain before this and the bins were a higgledy-piggledy. I kept some of the old chain but a lot of it isn’t as suitable as the new chain or couldn’t be spooled. It’s been earmarked for sale later.

Related: I store very small amounts of apoxie sculpt in the same kind of paint pot. It keeps really well!

Ooh, the paint pots look great! I had a similar system that came from harbor freight but the little inner compartments don’t have a tight enough fit even for trad size buckles, let alone these tinies.

The embroidery cards are such a great idea!
