Welcome to my little experiment with Lemmy. I’ve said a few times that maybe Lemmy might be a structure that would work for our community and I decided to finally start one.
Lemmy is federated with ActivityPub, so you can make an account here or in theory you can use an account created on another server for Mastodon or Lemmy.
This is just an experiment for now. If we like it and it works, I’ll figure out how to set it up in some sustainable way. But for now, consider it more of a sandbox than a permanent reliable structure.

Friends, a few people had some trouble getting set up, and it seems like the problem was that they didn’t successfully verify their email address by clicking the link it sends (or tried to send). If you’re in this state, you won’t be able to do anything, even reset your password. I can fix it manually on my end, so just reach out to me by other means (I think most of y’all know how to find me!) and we’ll get you sorted.
